You may find it necessary to completely remove PocketBible, either because you no longer want to use it or as part of trying to diagnose a problem. 


There are three folders you need to remove in the Library folder, which is normally hidden. To get to ~/Library, select Go To Folder from the Go menu in Finder, and type ~/Library. Don't forget the tilde (~) at the beginning.


Removing the older PocketBible 1.4 and removing the newer PocketBible 3.0 are similar. For PocketBible 1.4, substitute com.laridian.PocketBible where you see com.laridian.PocketBible3 below.


  • Remove the PocketBible application from the Applications folder.
  • Remove ~/Library/Application Support/com.laridian.PocketBible3
  • Remove ~/Library/Caches/com.laridian.PocketBible3
  • Remove ~/Library/Preferences/com.laridian.PocketBible3
