How do I delete my account, opt out of email, or change/remove private information?

In addition to your email address, we collect your name and sometimes your mailing address and phone.
Change or Remove Information
If you'd prefer not to disclose your real name to us, you can log into your account and edit your name to be anything at all. You can remove or obfuscate your mailing address and/or phone number while you're at it.
Opting Out of Emails from Us
To opt out of our emails, reply "remove" to any email you receive from any address at Laridian. Or contact us at support@laridian.com from the email address you'd like us to remove and tell us to remove you from our email list.
Deleting Your Account
Because of the intense focus on privacy that we live under, we're obligated to make it very easy for you to harm yourself by deleting your account without fully realizing the implications.
To delete your account, simply contact tech support from the email address on your account and request that we delete the account. You'll permanently lose access to everything you've purchased from us. All of your notes, highlights, bookmarks, and anything else you have stored on our server will be permanently deleted without question.
If we have any doubts about your level of understanding of the consequences, we may ask you to confirm your intent, but we won't stand in your way if you want your account deleted.
Preventing Accidental Deletion
If you are worried that your account might accidentally (or intentionally) be deleted without your knowledge or against your will, log into your account at our site, choose My Account, and look for the Do Not Delete My Account option. Once you choose that option and submit it, you will be able to change the details of your account (such as your name and email address) but neither you nor Laridian will be able to delete it.
