Will PocketBible run on my Chromebook?

Tech Support

Last Update vor 12 Tagen

Most current Chromebooks come with the Google Play Store preinstalled or readily available for activation. PocketBible should run on these devices.

However, some models may require you to enable the Play Store manually. To do this, navigate to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store and select “Turn on.” If you don’t see this option, it’s possible that your device doesn’t support Android apps. Google has details on which devices can run Android apps here.

That being said, Chromebooks run their own highly modified version of Android OS and it's not unusual to run into problems with Android apps running on a Chromebook. Chrome OS is not officially supported by PocketBible and tech support won't be able to answer your questions regarding PocketBible running on a Chromebook.
